The Food Ministry at Christ the King Church
The Food Ministry at Christ the King Church is committed to feeding both the bodies and souls of our brothers and sisters in the community. We offer our prayers and work diligently to alleviate food insecurity. We cook, serve, and clean at the St. Marten Soup Kitchen. We stock shelves, wait for food deliveries and collect donated toys at the Sacred Heart Food Pantry. We pick up food from our sister parish, OLC, we make sandwiches, and we pack bags at the Grab n Go. In the future, we will offer a food pantry where those we serve will choose the food they need.
But the most important thing we do is respect the dignity of all who come to us for help.
Come join us. Volunteers are always needed. Food and monetary donations are especially welcomed. (See our Giving page)
